Mindful Moments of the Week #29

Here are this week's set of guided mindfulness practices. The focus this week is on happiness, fulfilment and relationships. I also include a couple of extras too:

Smiling: The simple practice of smiling can actually trigger joy in the mind and body, helping relieve some of this pain. In this practice, we explore a simple body scan before exploring the way which we can bring positive emotion into your body and mind by simply smiling

What the World Needs: "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go out and do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive". In this guided meditation, we explore our perceptions about serving others versus a mindset of doing what makes us come alive. Following our passion. Our purpose. Only in this mindset will we be serving the World to our fullest.

Every Breath Counts: A REAL treat here. After attending a group retreat this week, I was introduced to the idea of possible prevention of COVID19 been closer to home than we think. Have a listen here to find out more

Practices for Connectedness and Happiness: This practice is an incredibly powerful one. Every human being wants the same basic things. Love, Happiness and Connectedness. Yet we often forget this when we become angry or frustrated in our days. The practice helps us to ground ourself in the reality that we are all striving for the same basic things

Full Cycle of Breath: Focusing our mind on something creates a good, healthy distraction away from distractions. It can help us in managing some of the triggers that we experience in everyday life. It is a simple concept that we explore in this practice where we break-down our focus on the breath before experiencing full-immersion in one full cycle
